Sources:

Online source - Archives of Nethys

    • Currently the Archives of Nethys has not yet been updated with Player Core 2 remastered content. This includes the Alchemist, Barbarian, Champion, Investigator, Monk, Oracle, Sorcerer, and Swashbuckler classes.
    • If you are playing any of the above classes, let me know which source you will be using.
  • Android App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.misthero.pf2earchive

Books:

Pathfinder 2e Player Core Remastered

Pathfinder 2e Player Core 2 Remastered

If an older book or the archive contradicts the remastered player core or gm core, the remastered content takes precedence.

Character Creation

  • Start at lvl 1
  • All common and uncommon ancestries (races) are allowed. This includes all races in the player core and player core 2 books. All common and uncommon backgrounds are allowed. All common classes are allowed.
    • Gunslinger and Inventor classes are uncommon and not allowed.
    • Psychic, Kineticist, Magus, Summoner, Thaumaturge classes are allowed from the Archives of Nethys. But please let me know before taking any of those classes as there may be Errata for the remaster
  • You start with 15 gold to purchase your equipment. No magic items (artifacts), magic armor, or magic weapons.
  • Pathfinder 2e starts all characters off with a 10 in each ability and then boosts  your ability scores based on ancestry, background, and class. You may choose to either follow the ability boosts system or roll using the rolling ability scores instructions below.
  • You will need to roll an additional d100. Please let me know your result.
  • As always, if you make a ratfolk character I am contractually obligated to send pictures of my rats as inspiration. The rats will flow, yes-yes.
  • This will be more of a sandbox, with a mix of social, combat, and exploration.

Setting

This campaign continues a few years after our previous journey on the seas around the Emerald Isles. Our adventure now begins on the mainland nearby, where you hear rumors of a King Wroot consolidating his power over the isles. The mainland aristocracy are making plans to get ahead if the power struggle reaches their shores, so political marriages are common in this time. One such happy couple, Adonis Kostas and Theophany Alexaki, has planned their wedding. Your character has a job to do to make it happen. Choose what you want based on your character’s background, a fighter guarding the chapel, a bard performing, a wizard hired for Pyrotechnics, whatever reason you have for your character to be on the scene.

Resources

Rolling Ability Scores

STEP 1: ROLL AND ASSIGN SCORES

Roll four 6-sided dice (4d6) and discard the lowest die result. Assign the sum value to one of your ability scores. Do this 6 times, once for each of the 6 ability scores.

STEP 2: ASSIGN ABILITY BOOSTS AND ABILITY FLAWS

Apply the ability boosts your character gains from their ancestry, minus the free ability boost. If your character’s ancestry has any ability flaws, apply those next. Finally, apply one ability boost to one of the ability scores specified in the character’s background (you do not get the other free ability boost). You do not get any class ability boosts or the additional 4 free ability boosts.
