All rule books listed under https://2e.aonprd.com/Sources.aspx?Group=1

3rd Party Content Listed as Pathfinder 2e compatible

If an older book, 3rd party, or the archive contradicts the remastered player core or gm core, the remastered content takes precedence.

Character Creation

  • Start at lvl 2
  • All common and uncommon ancestries (races) are allowed. This includes all races in the player core and player core 2 books. All common and uncommon backgrounds are allowed. All common classes are allowed.
    • Gunslinger and Inventor classes are uncommon and not allowed.
  • You start with 75 gold to purchase your equipment. 1 magic items (artifacts), magic armor, or magic weapons up to lvl 4. (The item’s lvl number is listed to the right of the item’s name in Nethys and Pathbuilder)
  • Pathfinder 2e starts all characters off with a 10 in each ability and then boosts  your ability scores based on ancestry, background, and class. You may choose to either follow the ability boosts system or roll using the rolling ability scores instructions below.
  • You will need to roll an additional d100. Please let me know your result.
  • This will follow a few months after the previous path finder campaign. If you wish to use an older pathfinder character, level them up/down to 2 and choose 1 magic item up to item lvl 4.
  • As always, if you make a ratfolk character I am contractually obligated to send pictures of my rats as inspiration. The rats will flow, yes-yes.
  • This will be more of a sandbox, with a mix of social, combat, and exploration.

Setting

Our adventure continues a few months after our previous journey in the city of Oppara, ruled by the much applauded Countess Phisetta dis Alavar. Last time, our band of adventurers remember working under the Countess, which you have been doing since without questions. Until the questions become too conspicuous to ignore.

Resources

Rolling Ability Scores

STEP 1: ROLL AND ASSIGN SCORES

Roll four 6-sided dice (4d6) and discard the lowest die result. Assign the sum value to one of your ability scores. Do this 6 times, once for each of the 6 ability scores.

STEP 2: ASSIGN ABILITY BOOSTS AND ABILITY FLAWS

Apply the ability boosts your character gains from their ancestry, minus the free ability boost. If your character’s ancestry has any ability flaws, apply those next. Finally, apply one ability boost to one of the ability scores specified in the character’s background (you do not get the other free ability boost). You do not get any class ability boosts or the additional 4 free ability boosts.
